Metaphor of Silence extends into book form a universe in which music, text and visual art respond to one another. Conceived around the artistic work of Gabriel Urgell Reyes, the book invites the reader to experience the work differently: through words, images, silences and correspondences that accompany the musical experience.

This new edition gives the project a tangible form while maintaining its connection with sound: a QR code provides direct access to the music, allowing the book to be approached as a space for listening, reading and contemplation.

The project was recognised at the Independent Music Awards in New York, with the album nominated in the “Eclectic Album” category and its production nominated in the “Music Producer” category.

More than an accompanying booklet, the book was conceived as an artistic object in its own right.

Conçu autour du travail de Gabriel Urgell Reyes, ce livret invite à parcourir l’œuvre autrement : par les mots, les images, les silences et les correspondances qui accompagnent l’expérience musicale.

Cette nouvelle édition donne une présence matérielle au projet tout en maintenant le lien avec le son : un QR code permet d’accéder directement à la musique et d’aborder le livret comme un espace d’écoute, de lecture et de contemplation.

Concebido en torno al trabajo artístico de Gabriel Urgell Reyes, el libro invita a recorrer la obra de otra manera: a través de las palabras, las imágenes, los silencios y las correspondencias que acompañan la experiencia musical.

Esta nueva edición otorga al proyecto una presencia material sin perder su vínculo con el sonido: un código QR permite acceder directamente a la música y abordar el libro como un espacio de escucha, lectura y contemplación.

El proyecto fue reconocido en los Independent Music Awards de Nueva York, con una nominación del álbum en la categoría « Eclectic Album » y otra por su producción en la categoría « Music Producer ».
